BetaPrivate TestFlight beta
Every dollar.
One clear pace.
Connect your accounts and see spending, bills, budgets, cash, and net worth in one private place.
PaceSpend keeps transfers and card payments from being counted twice, protects your bills and savings first, and leaves you with one conservative amount you can still spend this month.
Bank credentials never pass through Pace

It can't move money
Pace reads your accounts. That's all it can do.
We never see your password
You sign in at your own bank, not in Pace.
Encrypted end to end
On our servers and on your phone.
Sign in with Apple
No new account, no new password.
The hard part
Four ways budgeting apps count the same dollar twice.
Anyone can add up transactions. The work is in knowing which ones are not spending at all — and PaceSpend resolves each case rather than leaving it to you.
Moving money between your own accounts
Checking to savings is not spending. Pace detects the pair and counts it once, on neither side of your budget.
Paying your credit card
The purchase already counted when you made it. The repayment transfer does not count again — and cash is reserved for it in advance.
Being paid back by a friend
An incoming amount that repays an earlier expense is surfaced as a possible reimbursement for you to confirm, not booked as income.
Pending becoming posted
When a pending purchase posts, your corrections carry across instead of the transaction reappearing as new and uncategorised.
How it’s calculated
Not a black box.
Every line is in the app.
Most apps hand you a number and ask you to trust it. Pace shows the whole subtraction, and takes the more cautious of two answers.
Pace uses the smaller of cash after obligations and your remaining flexible plan. Future income does not increase Safe to Spend until deposited.
Safe to spend
$594.00
- Spendable cash$5,248.60
- Expected income — not included yet$600.00
- −Upcoming bills$822.00
- −Goal contributions$100.00
- −Cash buffer$500.00
- =Cash after obligations$3,826.60
- CAPFlexible plan remaining$594.00
The flexible plan caps the result. Cash after obligations is $3,826.60, but the plan only has $594.00 left — so $594.00 is the answer.
Every screen
Home is one tab. Here are the rest.
Real screens from the app, running in the sample-data mode you can open yourself without connecting a bank.

Activity
Every transaction, searchable and editable. Anything needing a decision waits in the review inbox.

Insights
What you spent each day, today against yesterday, with pending purchases already counted in.

Plan
One monthly budget and a limit per category. Used and left, on every line.

Accounts
Every balance and your net worth, with pending activity counted once and never twice.
What’s built
Plain monthly language, not budgeting jargon.
Every screen answers one question. Pace only interrupts you when something has actually changed, and the full working is always one tap away.
One number, and the math behind it
Available to Spend is one cautious number. Tap it and you see every line behind it — your cash, your bills, your savings, your buffer. Nothing is hidden.
Real accounts through Plaid
Checking, savings, credit cards, loans and investments update on their own. When your bank changes or removes a transaction, Pace keeps up instead of quietly drifting out of date.
Obligations protected first
Bills, savings, card repayments and your cash buffer are set aside before anything is called spare. Money you have not been paid yet never counts.
Review inbox and merchant rules
Anything that needs a decision waits in one place. Fix a shop once and Pace remembers it, split a receipt across categories, or clear the lot in one go.
Simple Flex planning
Four questions at setup and your plan is built: which accounts you spend from, when you get paid, what repeats every month, and how much cash to keep back.
Confirmable recurring timeline
Bills, subscriptions, pay, transfers, debt and savings on one timeline. Pause one, skip one, or stop it — nothing repeats without you confirming it.
Security
It can read your accounts. It cannot touch your money.
Connecting a bank is the biggest thing an app can ask of you. Here is exactly what Pace can and cannot do with that access.
Read-only, by design
Pace sees balances and transactions so it can do the maths. There is no part of the app that can move money, pay anything, or change your accounts.
Your bank password never reaches us
You sign in on your bank's own screen, through Plaid. Pace only ever receives a key that you can revoke, and never your username or password.
Locked down at both ends
Your connection to the bank is encrypted on our servers and on your phone, and nobody's data is ever visible to anyone else.
Leaving takes everything with you
Remove a bank and everything it brought in is deleted with it. Delete your account and nothing is kept.
Can PaceSpend move my money?
No. Pace can read your balances and transactions, and that is the only thing it can do. It cannot move money, pay anything, or change your accounts.
Why is Available to Spend lower than my bank balance?
Because your balance has not paid your bills yet. Pace takes out what is already owed — upcoming bills, your savings contributions and a cash buffer — before telling you what is genuinely spare. It is meant to be the cautious number.
Does moving money between my accounts count as spending?
No. Moving money to savings or paying off your card is not new spending, so Pace counts it once and not twice. If a friend pays you back, Pace asks you to confirm it rather than guessing.
What about income I know is coming?
You will see it, but it does not raise your Available to Spend until it lands. Counting money that has not arrived is how budgeting apps quietly let you overspend.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. Pace is built for iPhone, on iOS 17 or later.
Can I try it without connecting a bank?
Yes. Choose “Explore with sample data” when you open the app. You get a full working version with made-up accounts and transactions, and it never touches a real bank.
How do I delete my data?
Remove a bank and everything it brought in goes with it. Delete your account from inside the app and nothing is kept.
Know what you can actually spend.
PaceSpend is in controlled TestFlight beta for iPhone. Ask for an invite and we will send a TestFlight link when a place opens.
